Cakes Haute Couture was created in 2002 by Patricia Arribálzaga, who is currently considered the top cake designer in Spain, as well as a point of reference for the profession in Latin America and Europe.

Our company name ‘Cakes Haute Couture’ arose from an idea we had that we wanted to link the world of pâtisserie with the world of haute couture fashion design.

All our pâtisserie begins, like any haute couture outfit, with a unique, tailor-made design, it is then brought to life by an artist’s loving hand.

Our attention to detail extends from the initial design to the exquisite flavours we create. We are committed to using exclusively natural, preservative and additive-free ingredients. All our cake decorations are entirely edible and made only from either sugar paste, marzipan or chocolate: we never rely on real flowers or other types of manufactured materials.

We provide cakes, cookies, cupcakes and macaroons to some of the most exclusive events in the country. Our present clients include high-quality event and wedding planners, international press and publishing houses.

Our Cake Decorating Atelier was the first Sugarcraft school in Spain where we have welcomed students from all over the world. The courses are always taught by Patricia Arribálzaga, who is highly experienced in teaching multi-national groups, and we have developed our own methodology which includes teaching all the latest cake decorating techniques.
